Current Project: Patriot Quilt

This whole year I've been trying to make a lot of crocheted blankets but, they just take so much time. So finally I decided that some of them I just wouldn't be able to crochet. Fortunately, I came up with the best idea for that red, white, and blue blanket I was going to make. Instead I'm now quilting it. I'm attempting to quilt one side as a American flag and the other side is going to have patriotic fabrics quilted into some pattern that I haven't figured out yet. All the designs for different blocks I just haven't really liked yet.

So far I've finished the shorter stripes and I am currently half way through the longer stripes. After this I will work on the blue and stars and then sew the three together! I am so excited to finish this quilt. I think it's going to look great.
