Cats Are No Help!

I apologize for the poor quality photo, but just had to share this. A rather large spider was crawling toward me when I was sitting on my bed playing on my computer. Naturally I threw my computer at it and jumped up screaming. I looked back to try and kill it when it was missing! I had to strip my bed down to find it again. I finally found the spider crawling down the foot of my bed! I turned to go get a shoe and when I turned back around the spider was gone. I decided to remake my bed which was a failure with a cat around! You'd think he'd be looking for the spider! Instead my cats laying in my bed under the covers....

Oh, and as I type this up he's attempting to sit on my computer....

It's a good thing I'm a cat person!

The Truth About MY Birthday....

It's my birthday week! I can't believe I'm going to be twenty-years-old on Sunday! I can honestly say I would have never thought about this day being so soon when I was younger. Now I'm out of school and 20! With all the bad and confusing stuff that's been going on lately I'm really looking forward to my birthday as a escape. 

It's been scary journey to leave a place in life I've been stuck in for the past fourteen years. This whole time out I've felt like I have no purpose what so ever and it can be intimidating. All of my friends are out making new friends and studying hard while I'm sitting at home waiting for my turn. 

I just have to keep a positive look. I'm going to get my turn to go to school and I'll be ten times more determined to do great things since I had to wait.

Working Hard!

I'm trying to finish this cross stitch iPhone 4S phone case to show you all! I made my own pattern to do my phone case because the kit I got my case with didn't have any patterns I like. I would love to design some for everyone to use. I won't charge for the patterns, I promise! I just had to fill you guys in on it! I was actually suppose to post the phone case up a month ago, but I could figure out what I wanted it to look like. 

I'll go get to work on finishing it up and designing a couple more patterns for anyone interested (:

Next Sunday!!!

Looks like my exciting weekends aren't over yet!

 I just came to the realization of what next sunday is! That's right! This girl turns 20! Is anyone else as excited as I am??? :D

Rylees 3rd Birthday!

I just seem to be having exciting weekends lately! On Friday was my youngest nieces birthday. She turned three and had a Minnie Mouse birthday party. Even though her party wasn't until Sunday she knew Friday was her birthday. She was running around the house all day singing "Happy birthday to you!"

I got to do a lot of crafty things to help celebrate her birthday. I made her a Minnie Mouse themed tutu and hair bow. Also, I got to make her 12 regular sized cupcakes and 12 mini cupcakes. 

Along with making cupcakes I helped my mom make the cake! We made marshmallow fondant for the first time and I had to get use to using fondant. I think it turned out pretty good though! I was so proud of the bow I made for the top of the cake.  

The top was sliding off of the cake so I had to hold onto it the whole ride out to the party. My grandma let us have the party on her farm and the kids had so much fun! They all enjoyed looking at the cows and chickens. My cousin even took them on a hay ride. I think Rylee enjoyed her party.

Oktoberfest Fun!

So the weekend of August 23rd-25th was our local Germania Society Oktoberfest! Which makes me happy because my boyfriend (Johnny) and his family belong to the club. His mom is in charge of the pretzel booth.

Another reason why to be so happy about that weekend was Johnny's twenty-first birthday! He only had one beer and had a designated driver, don't worry. Some of his friends from outside of the club joined us to celebrate his birthday.  Instead of drinking he and his friends decided to play poker the whole night. Haha. He says he really enjoyed his birthday, though. You can tell by the smile on his face!

We had a blast the whole weekend, but by the last day we we're so warn out from working so hard all weekend long we were so ready to sleep in the next day. It was a great weekend and I can't wait until next year! (:

Bumming It Up!

I have to apologize. I've been such a lazy behind lately. I had to make the very hard decision of not attending school until January. On top of that, I was unable to receive my license. I've been so upset about everything that I haven't even had a single thought about posting or trying to deal with that video. I'm going to start buckling down on myself, though! I will make sure I post a video on YouTube and I post on my blog more! I promise!
